Happy Birthday, Jesus

It's Christmas Eve!   Andrew's car thermometer today claimed that it is 11 degrees - the day was cloudy, but dry.   The 4 of us went out for a walk in the afternoon and Lydia had her first nap in a buggy.

I'd used a ring sling up until a week ago and Andrew had carried her in the Kari-Me.   Last week we bought a lovely second hand Mama & Papas Luna.   RRP is £160, we got it for £50, woo!    The slings still get used for shorter journeys, but at 16 weeks of age and 17lb in weight I thought a buggy was a smart idea.

This is Lydia's first Christmas, and as an almost 4-month-old she's pretty oblivious about it.    When Adam had his first Christmas he was 10 months old and in love with all the lights and decorations.

There isn't much weather-wise that would warrant a photo being taken today... so I thought I'd dig out and upload some winter-wonderland photos taken in Christmas 2010.   Now, anyone who knows me will be aware that Tracie + snow + ice = an unhappy Tracie, so all this pics are from the window view at the rear of our house - much safer (and warmer) that way!

I really like this one!   Is snow caught in the branches of a garden shrub

Merry Christmas to all my readers!
Hope you can draw near to God and take time to remember the birth of Jesus.   Chocolate, presents and Buck's Fizz are all very nice, but they can't save your soul.
